Shane Ryan MBE

Shane Ryan is Senior Advisor to the CEO at The National Lottery Community Fund, former Global Executive Director of the Avast Foundation and former Deputy Director for The National Lottery Community Fund, former multi award winning CEO. Shane has over 30 years experience working across a number of sectors in a variety of leadership roles with specialist experience in regenerative philanthrophy, community co-design, international development and strategic partnerships.

Senior Research Partner, Aspen Institute, Women in the Economy; Founder and Executive Director, Tangu.

I aspire to utilize my privilege, education, and mastered skillsets to empower disadvantaged populations. My goal within my career is to facilitate social impact with marginalized communities around the world by using data, design, and creative storytelling. I have the qualitative and quantitative skills, diverse experiences, and passionate determination to accomplish these goals.

Yvonne Campbell

A seasoned professional with over

25 years in the social justice and grant-making sectors, with a deep understanding of the challenges facing communities and how to address them. Has a track record in business modeling, combining financial analysis with strategic and systems thinking, and is adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive positive change.

Gill Taylor

Gill (she/they) has twenty years of experience working in local government and voluntary organizations. Her work spans the fields of homelessness, community partnerships, safeguarding, health inequality, and social justice, where she has enjoyed frontline, managerial, and strategic leadership roles.

Until April 2023, Gill was an Assistant Director for Homelessness & Communities for a London local authority. She is now working independently as a researcher, learning partner, keynote speaker, writer, and systems facilitator.

Among her current projects, Gill is working nationally and internationally to facilitate systems transformation and organizational change. Her current projects include developing intersectional approaches to poverty prevention with a London local authority, a national inclusion health leadership program on behalf of NHS England, and a range of research and learning initiatives to prevent the deaths of people experiencing homelessness.

Gill has published insights from her work in several peer-reviewed articles and in the 2022 book "Adult Safeguarding and Homelessness." In partnership with Research in Practice, Gill is preparing to publish the co-produced "Radical Safeguarding Toolkit" in March 2024.

Kieran Herman Lewis

Kieran Herman Lewis is an expert in fundraising, partnership development, and policy research. As the Senior Partnerships Manager at the Global Fund for Children, Kieran led the organization to its most successful fundraising year and launched a new funding program for young activists in the UK.

Previously, he worked as a Partnerships Funding Manager at The National Lottery Community Fund, developing collaborative funding streams, and as a Policy & Research Officer at the T2A Alliance, focusing on youth and policing. Kieran has also held research positions at the Institute for Security & Global Affairs and the COT Institute for Safety and Crisis Management.

He serves on the advisory boards of Poetic Unity and the National Institute for Health Research, promoting youth empowerment and mental health.

 

Erin Gallegos

Erin Gallegos is a seasoned communications professional and strategist, with experience spanning international development, corporate responsibility and communications, and grantmaking. As the head of Partnerships and Program Delivery at the former Avast Foundation, Erin brought a human approach to strategic partnership, creating a foundation of trust needed for innovation, cross sector collaboration, and effective action. 

 

With an academic background in rhetoric, narrative, and intercultural communication, Erin brings sensitivity and clarity to organizational storytelling. Her broad, cross-sectoral experience enables her to ask insightful questions and provide new perspectives. Deeply collaborative, Erin is skilled at identifying common goals and fostering trust among groups and teams to achieve them.

Karim Iliya

Karim Iliya, based in Iceland and Hawaii, is a photographer, filmmaker, whale swimming guide, and founder of the non-profit Kogia, a free library of nature photos and videos built for conservation. In 2022, he was selected (from almost 1 million applicants) as a crew member on the dearMoon mission, the first planned civilian space flight with Space X, to go around the moon. Karim grew up in the Middle East and Asia and developed a curiosity for the natural world, which has taken him into the midst of exploding volcanoes, battling whales, ice worlds of the Arctic, and many of the fascinating places where humans and animals make their homes. Through his photography and films, Karim takes his audiences to hidden underwater worlds and documents other natural places in an effort to protect our delicate ecosystems on Earth. Throughout his life, he has been fascinated by the hidden mysteries in our universe, from the smallest creatures and the deepest seas to the great vastness of space. Karim has worked in over 50 countries, won multiple awards, and been published in National Geographic Magazine and BBC Earth. His nonprofit Kogia provides free nature media to non-profits, activist, and scientists in over 45 countries

Alena Vohanková is a content creator and graphic designer with extensive experience working for companies such as the BBC and Gen Digital. She combines creativity with technical skills to produce effective and engaging content.

Alena has a strong background in content strategy and graphic design, which allows her to connect with diverse audiences. Her work with leading organizations has helped her develop the ability to deliver high-quality results consistently. Alena is known for her collaborative approach and dedication to achieving team goals.

Stephanie Kane is an experienced technology communications professional with a proven track record in both B2B and B2C PR in agency, startup and FTSE 100 organisations. Specialising in strategic and creative communications campaigns, Stephanie is a seasoned storyteller and enjoys crafting compelling brand stories, developing impactful messaging platforms, and excels at managing crises and reputations. She offers expert support for corporate comms including M&A and issues management, thought leadership, and executive profile development, and has headed teams delivering purpose-led, award-winning campaigns. Passionate about people, as a team lead, she has guided and mentored junior colleagues, with a particular emphasis on women in technology.
